About Us

Queens Cricket League (QCL) is a women’s cricket initiative dedicated to empowering girls through sports while promoting menstrual hygiene awareness, confidence, dignity, and equal opportunities. Founded by Arvind Kumar and Rahul Arora, QCL is more than just a cricket league — it is a movement for women empowerment and social impact.

QCL provides young female cricketers with a professional platform to showcase their talent, gain exposure, and grow under experienced coaches. Inspired by the Restaurant Cricket League (RCL), QCL also supports a social mission where every 10 runs scored leads to the donation of 10 sanitary pads to girls and women from rural and underprivileged communities.

Through cricket and awareness initiatives, QCL aims to build confident players, inspire change, and create a positive impact in society.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for participation in Queens Cricket League (QCL) is simple and inclusive. Female participants between the ages of 12 years to 25 years are eligible to register and participate in the league. The trials and matches will be conducted according to different age categories to ensure fair participation and equal opportunities for all players.
The age categories are as follows:

- Under 14

- Under 16

- Under 19

- Under 23

- Above 23

Selection Process

Queens Cricket League (QCL) will conduct cricket trials to identify talented and passionate female cricketers from different age categories. Selected players will get the opportunity to participate in competitive league matches and showcase their skills in front of experienced coaches and cricket professionals. The selection process is designed to encourage performance, confidence and equal opportunities for aspiring women cricketers. Outstanding performers from the league matches will be shortlisted for advanced participation and future opportunities within the QCL platform. Apart from cricketing opportunities, QCL also focuses on creating awareness and social impact through sports. The league aims to inspire young girls to actively participate in cricket while promoting confidence, leadership and women empowerment. This initiative will serve as a strong platform for young female cricketers to grow, gain exposure and become part of a meaningful movement that combines sports with social responsibility.

Trial Details

The cricket trials for Queens Cricket League (QCL) will be conducted after the successful registration of players. Participants will get the opportunity to showcase their talent, skills and passion for cricket through a professionally organized trial process.
The trials for the current season will be hosted in the following city:

Other Facilities

Under Queens Cricket League (QCL), players will get the opportunity to participate in professionally organized matches and interact with experienced coaches, former cricketers and mentors who will guide young players and help them improve their skills, confidence and overall understanding of the game.

Players will be provided with refreshments, drinks and other basic facilities during trials and league matches. Selected participants will also receive official team jerseys with their names and numbers before the league matches and major tournament events.

It will be a valuable learning experience for all participants as experienced cricket professionals and qualified coaches will be present during trials and league activities to support and encourage young female cricketers.

Outstanding performers from the league will also receive special recognition, growth opportunities and support based on their performance and participation. QCL aims to encourage talented players by providing exposure, mentorship and opportunities that can help them move forward in their cricketing journey while becoming part of a larger movement focused on women empowerment, confidence and social awareness.
